Hi. I wonder if anyone could tell me if there is anywhere to get perts for the Trabant 600ccm 2T engine? I have this trabant-engine 300ccm, that basically is a 600ccm that is cut in half, but I do not know where to get parts to it, like piston, carburator, manifold, cylinder and cylinder-head. if anyone could give me a directional pointing I will be very happy. Thank you |

Hello. I come from Norway. The engine was cut in half to be used as the poweplant for a paramotor, I think it was produced in the Czech Republic, but I`m not shure, The reason I need parts is that I want to try to get a little more power out of the engine, and therefore would like to hade extra parts, as it very well could happend that I fail, and then ruin the parts that I have. |

It looks very interesting, but a 250ccm³ engine (cylinder, piston an crankshaft had to be newhoused because you don´t need the gearbox, I think) from the etz250-bycicle has up to 27 hp without difficult modifications. |

the 250er is also available in 23 and 21hp. But sorry I don´t know if the half-trabi-engines are still manufactured somewhere. Main problem is the crankshaft I think. Other parts are original Trabant. Maybe a 3-inlet cylinder solve your wish for more power. |

Well, pistons, cylinders and cyl-head you can buy in Germany by online-distributers, or look at the adress upwarts. But for the other parts, sorry, I can´t help you. |

Hi! If you want to get help especially on MZ engines, adresses for spare parts eg. (or at least hints where to find special help) there is another fine web adress: the MZ Mailing list. Though most writers post in German, don't worry to write in English, you'd be not the first one out there! I know at least one member from Denmark, and several from other foreign countries. You can get more info on the Mailing list here: I've been a member for several years now and can really recommend this list - for help or for nice discussions either. Just try it! PS this is no advertising, even if it might sound like one Falls jemand mein Schul-Englisch verbessern kann, möge er es tun! |

It`s going to be me and the rocketeer. Thanks a lot for adresses and stuff, it was most helpful. |
