Ist es möglich, heutzutage eine Trabbi bis zum Zentrum von Berlin fahren? - Ich höre, dass es gibt strenge Gesetze Emissionen jetzt. Vielleicht die Regeln halten, wird sein, für die Wand-Jubiläum, oder ?? |

Hallo! Nein, es ist nicht möglich! btw: The translation of the English "wall" is in German language "Mauer"! And not "Wand"! [Bearbeitet von Christian K (01-08-2009 - 13:25)] |

you're not allowed to drive through, but, on the other hand, i seldomly heard of anyone being catched ... if, the fine will be 40 euro as far as i know. you can decide yourself if you'll take that risk ![]() in germany they currently install a lot of so-called "umweltzonen" - areas that you're only allowed to drive into, if your car reaches certain emission values (usually cars with a three way catalyst or newer diesel cars). these rules are kept very rigid - even if you live or work inside such an area, it's prohibited ... welcome to germany, it somehow remembers me to the red flag act ![]() ps. "wall" can be "Wand" or "Mauer" in german. in this case, "Mauer" is the correct translation "Berliner Mauer". generally: in german, a "Wand" is at first anything built up vertically. the term stems from a germanic origin and - in its originally sense - means "a wall build from timber frame" - or any "wall that consists of wood"). a "Mauer" instead is usually something build from stone (from lat. "murus"). thats a fairly good way to difference between "Wand" and "Mauer" if you translate "wall", at least i don't know any other yet .. ![]() [Bearbeitet von pwb601 (01-08-2009 - 13:46)] |
