Hello cobmog, at first happy welcome at the forum. I like your idea of helping the children by taking a trip with the trabi trough asia. You coudn`t coose a better car to get public interests. But, for real. The planed route, that i can see on your homepage is very optimistic (in my eyes). Do you have a mechanic or someone who knows about the trabi technic. If not, search for one, because the trabi is not a car to sit in, smile and drive to cambodia. Of coures its simple technic, but there are a lot of "little things" that can make a lot of trouble. Ok, i`m a little pesimistic. So tell us more about your projekt. I`m sure you`ll finde a lott of help and tricks here in the forum. Hallo, mein deutch ist nicht so gut aber I muss sagen das wir haben zwei Automechaniker. Beide Leute weist viel über das Trabant und sind Mitgleide in dem Trabant Klub in Ungarn. Wir hoffen das weil jeden mann auf dieser site liebt Trabant sie werden uber unsere projekt sprechen. Wann jemand fragen hat Ich probiere auf Deutsch anworten. Ich werde auch auf English anworten. DANKE IN ENGLISH We have two mechanics who are members of the Trabant Klub in Budapest. One of them recently drove a bad EUR 40 Trabant from Budapest to Paris. We are bringing extra engines for each Trabant along with every spare part we can fit into the support vehicle. Our hope is that this will be enough to ensure the success of our mission. Our hope is that by posting on this site, for everyone who loves Trabants, that people will start talking about it. We want more people to know about it so they will follow our progress once we begin in June. We look forward to any questions and I will be my best to answer them in German but will certainly answer them in English. Thank you for looking at our site. |
